My Story

Hi, I’m Yonathan Niv, born in Israel in 1978.
Since I was a child, art has been my heartbeat. I spent countless hours getting lost in colors, shapes, and textures — always chasing that feeling of expression that words couldn’t quite capture. For years, I experimented, searching for the right language. And then I discovered abstract painting — and everything finally made sense.

Abstract art speaks to me like nothing else. It’s a language without words, one that goes straight to the soul. Every piece I create is a quiet conversation between feeling and form — between my inner world and the surface of the canvas. That’s why no two pieces are ever the same. Each one holds a different energy, a different moment.

I specialize in abstract and geometric expression because that’s where I feel most alive. Whether I’m working with bold splashes, layered textures, or subtle lines, I pour myself into every brushstroke. These works are born from real materials, real emotion — not generated, not replicated. Just raw creativity, captured in color.

Over time, I’ve realized that art has the incredible power to connect us. It sparks memory. It stirs emotion. Sometimes, it says what we didn’t even know we were feeling. That’s what I strive for in every piece — to create something that speaks to both of us.
